Your donation to the Friends will be used for programming and enhancement of the Center.

The Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities accepts the transfer of appreciated securities directly from you or from your broker.
 

With tax advantages for the donor, many individuals have provided gifts to the FWCAS through appreciated securities.

The Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities (FWCSA) accepts the transfer of appreciated securities directly from you or from your broker. With tax advantages for the donor, many individuals have provided gifts to the FWCAS through a gift of appreciated securities. 

 

When using your broker or bank, the transfer may be made electronically. Wells Fargo, acting as agent for the FWCSA, is set up to receive such transactions. You simply advise your broker/agent to send the transfer information to:

Please advise Wendy Petty, Director of the Center, wpetty@westportct.gov, when these instructions have been given so that the gift may be properly acknowledged. 

 

The value of exchange-listed securities on the date of gift is the average price as quoted by the markets on that date. 

 

The Friends of the Westport Center for Senior Activities (FWCSA) is a registered 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law under federal tax regulations. The FWCSA accepts online donations using major credit cards. Your online transactions are safe and secure and the FWCSA does not share donor information. The FWCSA is eligible for corporate matching grants.
